My 3 or 4 year old female guinea pig is eating more and a little less drinking.I had her with my 5 or 8 month old male guinea pig maybe 3 or 4 times and they humped but it was like a few weeks ago she is getting a bit bigger. Is she pregnant?and if she is what do I do to keep her healthy and happy because I know she is old to have more babies. She had babies before when her pelvic bones were opened.I know how to care for baby guinea pigs and I am keeping all babies even if she had 20 which I would doubt. Her last litter was 6 healthy guinea pigs who all survived but I had to get rid of to Pet World.

  1. it will be ok if she already gave birth to some puppies. but id reccomend asking a vet. also it may be dangerous giving birth at that age! well her pelvic bones have already seprated.... but thats old.

    hope this helps!

  2. MOST LIKELY SHE IS PREGNANT TAKE HER TO A VET. IF SHE IS, SEPERATE HER FORM THE MALE THEY HAVE THE TENDENCY TO EAT BABY GUINEA PIGS RIGHT AFTER THEY ARE BORN. I HAD THIS HAPPEN TO MY CHILDREN'S GUINEA PIGS THEY GUY SAID THAT THEY WERE BOTH MALE. WE FOUND OUT THEY WERE NOT ONCE WE LOOKED IN THE CAGE AND FOUND 4 DEAD BABY GUINEA PIGS THE OTHER GUINEA PIG WAS EATING THEM.
