  1. Freedom of speech allows you to talk about things that are not legal, so long as you do not attempt to have people do those things.

Legal: This is how you access a computer remotely

Illegal: Go access AOL's computers remotely.

Of course, the legality of a blog is completely different from it's acceptability in relation to a company's terms of use. If Google's Terms of Usage / Service say that you cannot blog about illegal activities... then they have the discretion to shut you down.

  2. They routinely co-operate with orgnizations such as the RIAA and FBI, you name it. They don't have to, but they do, because a lot of people who work in the entertainment industry buy their stock, as do people who work in large government departments (including, but not limited to the FBI).

They would sell your IP address for 5 cents (heck, 1 cent), if somebody connected with anti-pirating asked them for it.

Watch out! I wouldn't go near these types of companies if you're a hacker cracker. You'll just eventually end up in federal prison and with a large lawsuit against your whole family (if there's one high-speed connection in that house).
