Question:

Is NUDISM an "ART"? or otherwise?

People told me, nudism is an art. God create the natural beauty to give to human beings in this world, but human beings are hiding their beauty by wearing clothing.

Why are they hided their natural beauty?

They think they are ugly....awful.

Then, nudism should not be an "ART", the meaning of "ART" is the making of what is beautiful or expressive, or things that are beautiful or expressive...

What is your opinion? I am confusing.....

  1. I guess you could say it's God's art because we are His creation.

Some people do go naked, like some people who live in tribes in nature like they did so many years ago.  I think they really know how to be happy just being natural and living off the land.

I would never go naked now because too many perverts out there that see a naked body and think s*x.  Also it can get really cold, and I like clothing to protect me from hot benches or seats that God knows who else was on etc.

  2. These is all notihng but excuse. In my opinion, it aint art. It's p**n. They're just pervert and cook up a story that this is an art. if they say that God gives human the natural beauty which is our body, how come we don see those who appriciate nude art walking naked on the street since they said that? Strange huh.

  3. It's all about knowing your audience and their perceptions.

I mean I would not call it art to see some middle age male fat bloater sitting naked on the bus, but someone else may.

I mean I call some of those old fashioned nude oil paintings of fat woman fantastic art, because it is natural not to look like a teenage boy if you are a real woman.

  4. I DON T THINK U CAN VIEW ON IT AS EROTIC PHOTOS

  5. eh. I wouldn't say nudism itself is art. all it is is not wearing clothes. but the body can be considered art. anything that somebody finds beautiful can be considered art. paintings, music, dancing. even martial arts. Some people find the human body to be very artistic and beautiful.

  6. Anything can be argued that it is an art. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

If you think its art, then its art.

If you think it is c**p, then it is c**p.

Personally I think that fat chicks are c**p and hot chicks are fine art.

  7. Nudism in and of itself is not an art form.  Nudity often appears in art of all different types.  But nudism is just walking around outside naked.  Exhilarating perhaps and a lot of fun with the right company but certainly not art.

  8. erm, are you refering to the Australian art festival controversy? is a misudnerstanding you know....

Besides, nudism can be an art, but you should know that todays world is all about the Money. If nudism allowed to be an art, then the adult industry will had a leap of oppurtunity for further growth in their negative influence to the world. do you want that to happened on your children?

do you want them to think pervertedly?

    later~

  9. Art is not always beautiful to everyone.  For instance I have a lamp of a naked lady she is lying on her back with one leg in the air and then there is a lampshade on top her foot I think she is beautiful I call it art my nephew calls it a mama my mom calls it ungodly so she made my lamp some clothes.  You may not like my lamp you may not see it as art it may offend you.  In which case you are entitled to your opinion.  I think the human body is a beautiful thing and clothing well I'm not going to walk around in the nude! I know what I got underneath my clothes and I intend to keep it safe!

  10. I can see Nudism as the adoration of a piece of artwork, but not so much as a 'fine art'.  I can understand Nudism as being a practiced 'art' in an extremely conceptual sense, which really is not my taste at all.

So if I were to say yes or no, I would definitely decide on the latter.

  11. It's not my cup of tea.

I think it's some sort of intellectual stand point for some who feel that they have to act upon it in an organised way mainly because the greater population legislate against minority behaviours like nudism. Think about it, in order to exist they have to be organised, find a place to be nudist and then police that area so nothing untoward happens. Mind you the other end of the scale is that place of innocence where people see beauty in a different way because everyone else is naked or near naked, where it is part of the majority culture.

  12. NO!!! It is most definitely not an art. Have you heard about the naked child's photo was put up in an art gallery?! If you really want 2 believe nudism is an art, at least cover the private parts.

  13. Clothing was originally used just to keep warm. It developed into a fashion, which people wore to look good and show off styles. It is only with recent religions that have caused nudism to become taboo.

If you look at ancient Greek or Roman art, not many people wore clothes.

    "They think they are ugly....awful."

Obviously not the people who like artistic nudity.

  14. Yes Nudism is definitely Art to me. Here, we are referring to nudity or nudes in the artistic form, notably with the private parts covered or hidden. These can be beautifully expressed in the form of photography, art (like drawing, painting) and probably also in the performing arts like dances, plays and dramas. They may be erotic but never pornographic.

Once we appreciate the beauty of nudity or being nude, we will feel comfortable ourselves and most likely will not be offended seeing someone nude ...That's the natural beauty when God created us ...in the nude, unclothed, pure, innocent and without guilt.

  15. There isn't really a straight forward answer. I think the question is more likely, "Do you like nudism or not?" Because you can argue art like all those 'art critic' FOBS are all you want. (sorry, I HATE art critics, they should be forced in a room surrounded with their failed attempts at art).

Joke's aside, art is, like you said, something that is made by human effort, aiming to stir the senses, in a way that is unique, unusual, highly skilled, or otherwise exceptional.

It certainly isn't art taking all clothes off for the sake of doing it.

Nudism may be considered as art, if the body shown in the nude has something remarkable done to it - well toned worked out figure, interesting body art (tattoo, piercings)... or whether it carries a message that cannot be otherwise conveyed.

I haven't seen the piece you're referring to, personally unless I really fancy someone I don't care to see them naked.
