  1. Disorder and disability are used interchangeably, however, it is a developmental disability.


  2. Non-Verbal Learning Disorder is a disorder, as the name says.  It also involves a delay in language, as implied in the name.  It is not one of the 14 IDEIA disabilities, but may be a manifestation of a recognized disability such as autism or CPI (OHI).
