Question:

Is Nadal's career coming to an end?

Nadal was limping again, and his knees are going. It will be very hard on his knees at the US Open and he probably won't make it to the semis this year. You can't play his style of tennis and last very long. It seems his career is coming to the end, what do you think? Should he retire?

  1. once federer retires he will have barely any competiotion

  2. PEOPLE! NADAL'S KNEES ARE NOT GOING!! He withdrew from the Mercedes Cup as a precaution and taking time off to rest and most probably just enjoy his win!! He was only limping during the match becauese he JUST fell!! He's only 22 FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!

    Vamous Rafa!

  3. NO WAY! he just won wimbledon - i don't think he's going to quit now.

  4. the way he is playing if he even last for 4 more years he will still break sampras' 14 slams!

  5. Nah. He will have a shorter career than most tennis players though due to his playing style. He pounds on the those courts. at the French, Wimby that's why his legs are always taped up and that's why he's always burnt out around this time on hardcourts. He needs to learn to play more efficiently like Federer does, with nice footwork and float above the court.

  6. Nadal is 22.....no way anything is giving out. He's going into his prime. Look for another good 10 years out of him and another good 6 or 7 out of Federer. This rivalry will be fun to watch for al ong time coming.

  7. no

  8. Ha ha, good one Nina. I love the sarcasm.

  9. Nadal may be injured, but that doesn't mean he should retire. He's 22 years old for god sakes, and he sure isn't losing "his style" at the French Open. (And now Wimbledon)

Scary thing is that he hasn't reached his peak yet. We'll see him (barring major injury, burnout, and death) for years to come.

  10. He just won Wimbledon! XD

Nah, seemed like a little injury. He'll be in perfect health in no time.

I don't think he'll be number one for long at all, but we'll see.

    Go Federer!

    Sorry.

    ._.

  11. No way, Nadal is only 22 years old, he still has 10 more years if not more. Just because he was limping, doesn't mean his knees are going out. No way should he retire! He just won Wimbledon! He'll definitely be around for years to come! Congratulations Rafa!

  12. Nadal has his best tennis ahead of him. He had tendinitis in his knees, he didnt tear an ACL. A few weeks of rest he'll be back and helathy.
