  1. basically...he will be when in the Aug. 18 rankings

  2. He is the no.1 unofficially. Had he made it to the finals of Cincinnati, he would've been No.1 on Aug.11. Had he won it, he would've been the top player right now. Since he lost in the semis to Djokovic, he has to wait until Aug.18 before being ranked World No.1. Currently, Federer has 6680 and Nadal has 6455. After two weeks, their previous year's points will drop (Roger loses 850 while Rafa drops 230). So on Aug. 18 (after the Olympics), Rafael Nadal will have 6255 versus Roger Federer's 5830. He is leading by 395 points and will be the first seed in the US Open. Not to mention, Rafa leads with 7 titles this year while Roger has only 2. He should really be No.1 with that feat.

  3. on aug 18 he would no. 1 no matter what happens

  4. Yeah :) ! On August the 18th he will be offcially known as the #1 in the world :) ! I cant wait im soooo excitied !

  5. He becomes number 1 when the rankings are published on august 18.

  6. nope hes no 2 Roger federer is still no 1

  7. No he needed to win Conniticut to become the worlds number so for now he's still number 2 behind Federer.

  8. Yes he has just been made no.1

  9. Technically he won't be until August 18 but for all practical purposes he is number one. The only reason he isn't officially is the change in calendar dates of tournaments because of the Olympics.

  10. He got beaten last night in the Connecticut Open

  11. yea hes no.1 now.

  12. Not officially, he needs to wait til August 11th.
