Question:

Is Nadal on the path to becoming the greatest tennis player ever?

If Nadal wins the gold medal on Sunday he will have accomplished another thing that few tennis players have done. (besides winning the French Open and Wimbledon back to back).

The Olympics use hard court (or is it carpet?).

Could his success at these games give him more confidence on the hard court and lead to him becoming dominant on all surfaces?

I know Nadal is still far from becoming the greatest ever. But he is having a phenomenal year and I think he is on the right track.

Comments?

(Go Rafa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

  1. At the rate he is going, it is absolutely possible.  He is a fantastic player no doubt about it.....but there are so many other greats too.

    Good job Rafa!!!!

  2. I hope so =D This year has been amazing for Nadal .. I hope he'll keep this up until the end of the year .. It'll be hard but his mental and physic are huge !

    VAMOS RAFA ;)

  3. i do noooo believe he is. he's not fast enough around the court and he doesnt put enough top spin on his shots. he needs to start going to the gym so he can get more power.

  4. no he sucks federerr is still ginna be better and novak jakovich will be to

  5. Yes i believe so. He is well on his way to becoming the greatest player, winning a gold medal at the Olympics would be amazing something Roger Federer has failed to do twice. I also believe Nadal will win the Career grandslam :) ! Again something Federer failed to do, i doubt he`ll ever win the French. Right now the best players in the world are Rafa and Novak. Vamos Rafa cant wait to see his name up as world #1, well deserved.

Also i dont want Roger fans going crazy at me, its just an opinon and a lot of people seem to agree. I believe Novak is a better player than Roger and will overtake him as #2 soon. I dont even like Djokovic but i cant denie the talent he posesses lol!!! What Roger has achieved is amazing and yes he is one of the best tennis players but is he the greatest?! NO he needs to win all the grandslams to be that, its a fact lol

  6. yes. tomorrow he will win the gold, and will win the us open this year and the australian open next year to complete the golden slam before being 23 during roland garros next year. he'll win more slams than sampras. he deserves it i agree with all your details. his mental toughness and physicals are way too strong.
