Is Naruto Shippuden in fillers? if so, how long has it been in fillers, and how much of it is fillers? I've tried to find the answer on the internet but I can't quite get what I want. Like, is Sora a filler character, or one from the manga? and are his "powers" like they are in the manga the same in the anime? and what about Asuma and Kazuma? is that from the manga, or is it fillers? Thanks!

  1. Yes, it's still in filler arc. It's been a filler arc since episode 56. So that's about 15 episodes of fillers. He's a filler character, he doesn't involve anything in the manga. His power is like a Kyuubi. But instead, he's a half-jinchuuriki. Kazuma is also a filler character too and doesn't relate anything to the manga.

  2. Sadly, yes, shippuuden IS in fillers right now.

Which pisses me off because it's RIGHT before the Hidan & Kakuzu arc which is an AWESOME part. :3

It's been in fillers since roughly Shippuuden 56, I believe.

Ans as of right now, it is STILL in the stupid Sora fillers. (

(To answer your other question, Sora isn't even IN the manga. ANYWHERE. He's just another stupid, pointless filler character. -_-')

According to the episode guide on tv.com, Hidan and Kakuzu come into the anime in Shippuuden 72. Which will be online on August 21st.

    So ten days from now!

    GOODBYE FILLERS!

    Muwhahahaha

And as for Asuma and Kazuma, that's part of the filler story too.

I mean, Asuma WAS in the twelve ninja guardians....but I don't really remember them mentioning much, if any, of Kazuma in the manga.

Let's all hope they're done with this filler bullshizz for a while.

If they put more fillers before one of the big fights coming up, someones gonna die.........

  3. Naruto Shippuuden have started their fillers officially in the episode 57-58 special. Therefore,Sora is a filler character..he does not appear in the manga. Though I believe this is the only decent filler that they have ever had..I actually like Sora.

  4. The best information I can give you is, his outfit changes right at the begining of Shippuden! Soon after that you'll learn Kakashi-sama's back story as well. Dedara will make his first apperance as well!

( ^_^; sorry I can't remember more then that. Just trying to help out)

  5. Let me tell you everything you need to know.

Naruto Shippuden first aired with the Gaara Arc which was from Chapters 245-281 in the manga and Episodes 1-32 in the anime. Then, the Sasuke and Sai Arc aired (from Chapters 282-310 in manga and Episodes 33-53 in anime).

Then, in Episode 54 of Shippuden, that was when most of the things from Chapter 311 occurred (Kakashi in the hospital telling Naruto of his new jutsu). However, they didn't show Yugito Nii and the battle against Hidan and Kakazu. At the same time though, Naruto had the dream of Sora which lead to the fillers (so basically Episode 54 was most of Chapter 311's rendition, as well as having some of the filler stuff including Naruto's dream).

In Episodes 55 and 56, Naruto begins his training with Kakashi with his wind chakra (they skipped over the Yugito thing completely, or at least, didn't show it yet). Episode 55 was all, if not mostly manga-based. Episode 56 was half-canon, half-filler as it sets the stage for the filler arc.

Then, from Episodes 57-61, Naruto and his team goes on a mission with the Fire Temple, encounters Sora, battles the enemies, etc. It is here that Sai is incapicitated, leaving him useless for the rest of the arc. Also, Danzo has a fair amount of screentime and revealing that Tsunade still has a grudge on him.

In Episodes 62-64, Sora joined Naruto and the others in Sai's place and bonded with the Konoha ninja. He was then told by Furido (or Kazuma) that Kazuma was "killed" by Asuma, causing him to feel hatred. It was here that Asuma had a lot of screentime as he showed Naruto and Sora the chakra training that Kakashi left off on (for some reason, Kakashi's not there in the fillers).

In Episodes 65-68, Konoha is invaded by Furido and his henchmen who use zombies to attack the ninja. It was all a diversion so that the Four ninja that assisted Asuma and Chikiru (the bald monk) can use Limelight. However, that failed as two of the henchmen were killed by Yamato and Sakura, and Asuma killed one of the four guardians (thus making Limelight unusable, since it has to be used by all four of the guardians).

In Episodes 69-70, Furido decides to use Sora as a back-up plan since Limelight failed. He entices Sora to his bidding and reveals to him that he is a Pseudo-Jinchuriki (he was implanted chakra remnants from the Kyubi attack in him as a child. He has the Kyubi's power but he can't control it due to the improper and grotesque sealing method used compared to the 4th's proper sealing technique in which the seal enabled Naruto to his chakra. Sora can't use the Kyubi's power as effectively as Naruto, and that using it in the slightest transforms his body).

Naruto also defeats the red-haired henchman using his wind chakra to break her hair, and a Rasengan to kill her. Naruto, Asuma, and the others encounter Furido (Kazuma) and Sora, with the latter being controlled by the Kyubi chakra in him. With the chakra, Sora was able to dispel the techniques of Kiba, Akamaru, Rock Lee, Shikamaru, Choji, Yamato, and Naruto (Sakura and Ino stay by the sidelines to heal the others). Naruto also transforms due to the leakage, but rejects the power. They are currently fighting Sora, and Episode 71 may end it.

Let's hope Episode 72 can get things back to the way Masashi Kishimoto wrote it (I can't wait for Shikamaru, Asuma, and Naruto to show their mad skills against Hidan and Kakazu).

To answer your question, Sora is an anime-only character and so is Kazuma and the other Guardian Ninja. However, it was good for Asuma to have some screentime before you-know-what happens.

    I hope I helped you a lot.
