Is Nascar still cutting back Toyota HP today ?

Wow nascar must be in a bad position No people at race, Sponsor leaving , teams dropping and now there making NEW RULES?

What race has there been no people at?  What sponsor is leaving?  What teams are dropping?  Yes, they reduced the power in the Toyotas for the Nationwide series but it will not be much of a factor at a road course.  You need to clarify what you are trying to say.

edit:  There is almost no business that is unaffected by the current economy in the U.S., NASCAR is no exception.  Sponsors have always come and gone, this year is no exception.  Teams come and go, this year is no exception and just because JGR is not ADDING a 4th team doesn't mean they aren't viable!

That is called economics...everyone has their problems these days and why you ask??? do not need links to find that out..economy is in a downhill drop for recession and it will happen soon, but in the world of Nascar nothing will ever shut it down..Nascar is American Heritage and not even a recession or depression is going to shut it down..

Yep, in Nationwide.

Have you been living under a bridge?  NASCAR is not in a bad position.  No people at race?  Where/when?  Sponsors leaving?  That is what happens at the end of a contract!  NASCAR ALWAYS changes the rules!

Not on cup cars.  No other major sport changes it's rules during the middle of a season except NASCAR   If they change the rules in the middle of the chase this year it will just prove how far they will go to get their favorites (big draws) to win.  And when that happens it will be enjoyable to watch the beginning of the end (actually with COT already started) of NASCAR cause companies with biggest pockets right now are not on US soil

Its 11am the race isn't on.  Are you watching practice or qualifying for 1 of the many NASCAR series?

Gibbs never had a 4th team.  Hard to get sponsorship for a team and driver that he doesn't have.

The economy sucks.  Hard for people to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars taking the family to a race.  TV viewership is up though.

Sponsors come and go all the time.  Its been happening all the time in all motorsports.
