Question:

Is Nasonex vegan?

I think it is looking at the ingredients. But perhaps the company has tested the ingredients on animals. Let's hope not. Also, on the website they call it a prescription allergy medication, but I was hoping there was an over-the-counter version available too. Simply because I don't currently have health insurance (I know, it's bad).

  1. No. But if you need the medicine, then you need the medicine.

As far as I know all drugs are tested on animals before they are tested with human subjects.

For free or low cost doctor visits, call the public health department and ask about free or low cost clinics.

For free or low cost meds, try

  2. I would probably say it isn't vegan. I take allergy medicine that isn't vegan also.(Along with other medications - I have a lot of respiratory illnesses due to severe allergies). It's so hard to find substitutions, and then ones that work at that. This is something you really can't control so don't feel to bad about it.
