Is Nationwide Credit svc a real company?

My boyfriends brother recieved a letter in the mail stating something like send us 54 dollars and we will guarantee you a 10,000 dollar credit card in the mail. Is this a scam? I have looked on the internet for this place and cannot find it. He sent money to a po box in illinois. Is this a real conmpany or did he get duped?

Scam...I agree with the first post.

In addition how did he send the money?  If it was by check, make a stop payment asap. and close the account.  The company may be in the check fraud business as well.

Your boyfriend is so naive....geeze it's obviously a scam.

Send $ first....is always a scam. If they really meant business he could have asked the $54 to be taken from the $10,000 card limit.
