Is New York University a good school for social sciences (specifically politics)?

Considering that most of the so called "important" people with rich families attend the s****. social elite schools.

Although being rich and never working an actual job, may have future repercussions if voters ever found you out; at least you know you'll be given the "free ride" based on how many benjamins your father has in his account!

And I heard the education is top of the line; that is, if you can concentrate on your studies and not secret coke parties.
