Is New Zealand a good place to Study Abraod?

I'm planning to study abroad in my fourth year of university. I am really excited about it, but don't know where I should go?! One of the top places on my list is New Zealand. I have heard that the University of Otago is a good school, but that it is really cold there for most of the year.. What does everyone think of New Zealand? Should I choose it?!

I studied at the University of Canterbury for 6 months the spring of my junior year (for NZ's fall semester). It was amazing.

I had a friend at the University of Otago, and she seemed to like it, but Dunedin seemed to much of a college town and when school was out, nothing was going on. There was always stuff to do in Christchurch and its a good central location for exploring the rest of the south island.
