Is Newtype Magazine a collectable?

I have about a year and a half worth of Newtype USA magazines, and I was wondering if they were worth keeping. They take up a lot of space and are real heavy ):

I would say the dvds they came with are more collectible than the magazines.

Just checked ebay about $10 for 6-12 issues and $3 for the dvds
