How much are the items on the menu for lunch, dinner, etc? Will a person get bored if he/she goes for 4 days? Is it a pretty area?

  1. It is true that restaurants in Niagara Falls are expensive. For example, a burger and fries with a drink at T.G.I. Friday's on the Canadian side can cost up to $24 so be prepared to spend a lot at the restaurants, even some of the regular fast food restaurants are expensive. Don't eat a the hotel restaurants, they're more expensive than the regular restaurants and the food isn't even as good as the outside restaurants. A nice (but affordable) restaurant is Coco's by The Falls. You can read the reviews here: http://www.restaurantica.com/on/niagara-...

You won't get bored in Niagara Falls as there are lot's of attractions on both sides of the falls. On the Canadian side there is Clifton Hill, Marineland (sort of like Sea World but smaller), the Skylon Tower, Journey behind the falls and various other attractions. It can get very crowded on the Canadian side, but it is true that the views are better from that side. I would advise you to stay on the Canadian side, but visit the attractions on both sides.

The U.S. side of the falls is very pretty, especially in the state park. It's nice to be beside the falls surrounded by nature instead of all the noise and traffic you get on the Canadian side. On some very busy days, you can barely see the falls from the Canadian side as a result of all the people crowding around the observation area. The state park has good views of the falls and the Canadian hotel skyline. There is also an observation tower that provides great views of the falls and the Niagara River. Cave of the Winds is also a great experience. You walk along a series of wooden walkways, right beside the American falls. The entrance is in the state park.

  2. Before the US currency tanked it was not expensive.  I don't know about now.

I think the Canadian side is much prettier than Niagra, which is pretty much ghetto.
