It may not look big, but it is pretty big.  It's not a huge mansion or anything, but it is certainly not tiny either.

Yes it's both home and office and it's huge inside, an effect like the Doctor's Tardis (which is probably where they got the technology from). It stretches a long way out the back and is connected to both houses on either side as well, like a regular rabbit warren.

We have the ex-Prime Minister Ted Heath to thank for making it look so wonderfully well-kept and well-furnished inside, too, since he spent a lot of his own money on it when he was in residence.
