Is No7 a good brand? a few qs!?

Question

is their makeup of good quality? iv been looking for top quality eyeshadows and other eye makeup..is no7 any good for that?

also...is NYC a good brand. they're very affordable, i was wondering is there a catch?

finally...do boots or superdrug sell any complete eye makeup brush collections? im in serious need of some.

obviously MAC/sephora/urban decays/nyx arent very accessible in the UK so i guess we gotta make do with whats available!

I've tried No7 eye shadows and I wouldn't rate them too highly, although I would recommend their foundations and skin care ranges.

I'm not sure where you live, but most large Boots stores have plenty of mid range cosmetics by people like Benefit, Stila and Urban Decay.

I do think MAC does the best eye-shadows in terms of colour range and staying power and you can order on-line and be added to their mailing list.  Debenhams also do a good range that you can order on-line.

The best easily available eye shadows I've come across is Bourjois, which you can even pick up in Tesco!  Their little eye shadow pots come in gorgeous colours that really stay put!

i've been going crazy for the MAC brushes however they are hard to get from the UK and very expensive --> you can get them in london.

No7 mousse foundation is very good as i've used it and last forever, although some No7 make up productaren't't very gooespeciallyll the mascara.

NYC is really good for their eye shadows!!

You can buy good brushes from the body shop.

Yes it is a very good brands... one of the best btands u will find in a drugstore. I love their cream eyeshadows that are in the little tubes.

NYC is okay... it doesnt last very long though. Some of their good things are the liquid eyeliner, waterproof eyeliner pencil, and plumping lipgloss. their blush and bronzer is also good.

their other makeup sucks.

No7 is a good brand it is about £6 upwards. I use their mousse foundation in blond and it lasts months and it only costs £11 pound.

Boots do sell brush sets and they are good value. Mac is good too. I also use Benefit.

They're eye-shadows are quite good and so are their nail varnishes

They're lip glosses aren't bad either. But I think they are a bit over priced.

NYC are alright for a cheaper brand...Eyeshadows aren't the best quality

I'd try ELF (Eyes Lips Face) where all make up is £1.50

I know superdrug sell brush selections...Around Christmas they sell really large sets of every brush, pad etc you'd need!

I would say No7 is pretty good.  I use the pressed powder, blusher & highlighter.  

I'm not sure about NYC... I think with any makeup you use it is down to trial and error as to what you choose. I don't think you need to pay a ridiculous amount of money on makeup to make it look good it is a matter of finding products you like to use.

No7 sells different size brushes, I bought a powder brush just today.. it was £9.00

No 7 is an exceptionally good brand for example their anti wrinkle creme is like the only one that is scientifically proven to work. I have just ordered a no7 starter kit of ebay for less than £5 to try th eyeshadow.

NYC is alright but i definatly prefer boots natural collection or boots 17 range or http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/ they do nice eye sets and i love their creme eyeshadow, and all over colour stick which is very effective and striking as an eyeshadow. http://www.wnwbeauty.com/ also has some nice eyemakeup like glimmersticks and eyeliner/eyeshadow wands. Collection 2000 also do nice eyeshadow trios and are very affordable and good quality. Body shop have amazing eyeshadow but they are quite expensive.

I think boots do but they are quite expensive. Body shop do amazing brushes but i would have to advise ebay for such matters or e.l.f. do very affordable brush sets.

If you want NYX try http://www.cherryculture.com/index.php although it is american the postage isn't that expensive at all and if you convert the $ into £ it works out to be very affordable.

Oh and if you want urban decay primer potion get it off ebay. It will make your eyeshadow last way longer.

No7 is Good brand

NYC is a good brand, if you like their makeup then try Barry M too

Boots no7 have always been a high quality product at affordable prices in my opinion.

Especially the nail varnishes. Its up there with Cutex.
