Is Normandy now dominated by British ex-pats at the expense of local culture?

with British property buyers moving in, using their own builders and tradesmen from England and opening up businesses, as everywhere now in France

  1. Many of them are border-lines in their country - which is not always written on their cars - many come - many go -

    And  believe me - they are under narrow observation -

    Otherwise they do not do anything to perform their french - french don't bother  either - the only spectacular effect is the increase of estate prices - this will not last long


  2. not at all, I don't know where you Brits learn that France is getting british, etc. Lots of englishmen live here, but there are more French ( fortunately ) and wherever I go in France I don't have the impression I'm in England...

  3. Are you asking a question or just saying that there are too many British ppl in Normandy?  You should be aware that a lot of French ppl and other foreigners are living/working in Britain, the US, Canada, etc.  not just British ppl in France.
