Is Norton AntiVirus 2008 worth buying?

Its $39.99 at Best Buy. I need a not expensive and not too cheap antivirus program, and I heard about Norton a long time ago, but I was just waondering if I should give it a try.

no waste of money slows down computer and lets in viruses ironically i would say get bitdefender i use it best program out there about same price maybe more but defffffinatly worth it

Norton is by far not the best AV out there. Check out Kaspersky Antivirus or ESET NOD32, both are pretty light weight, update in a timely fashion and won't try to take over your computer and drain your soul (figuratively).

Don't even think about it lol. After starting to work at geek squad i found out that it gives u more problems than it takes away.  Invest on something a bit more productive like F-secure or Kapersky
