  1. In sayings, March is the more raining month; but I also remember some years ago the more rainy month was August :)

In November of course can rain, but more than 6 or 7 days of rain should not be considered something usual.

Edit: yes, "generally"; but an avergae is not a a rule. Even more when talking about Italy, which climate may vary a lot because of the morphology of the Country (long, mountain ranges, surrounded by the sea...) and last year winter was even quite warm...

But don't be so worried: we rarely have lot of consecutive days of rain.

  2. if u wanna enjoy ur trip to Italy & don't waste ur money , u may not visit it in winter !!

i think march or april will be better!!

u may visit ( with same sequence) there Rome, Florence & venice for sites visit thn millan for shopping, coz any way u can't leave from Venice there is no international airport there & the nearest one will be in Millan!

so u can spend there one day or even one night for shopping it's the city of fashion!!

  3. Even with the rain you will enjoy Rome, it's so plein of history and so cosmopolite that there will be no weather that avoid you to enjoy rome... The weather in Venice is  cooler than Rome, but it will be sad to come to Italy without going to Venice, and remember, when the weather its hot, the lagoon (venice) smells really bad!!
