  1. "Shifting from his previous opposition to expanded offshore drilling, the Illinois senator told a Florida newspaper he could get behind a compromise with Republicans and oil companies to prevent gridlock over energy."

    _________

He said that he would not be as rigid when dealing with drilling. He said that if drilling was necessary to get on a better fuel than oil, he would do it.

"Thursday backed off his firm promise to withdraw combat forces from Iraq immediately and instead said he could “refine” his plan after his trip to Baghdad later this month. "

    __________

This is just garbage. He never said that he wouldn't withdraw troops from Iraq immediately. He said that he speak with the commanders and decide a way to do it effectively, or so I infer. I think he should relocate the troops to Afghanistan, should he become President.

"In his speech Wednesday before the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee, Obama sounded a bit like the more hawkish officials in the Bush administration."

    _________

Right, and because some Israeli said that in his gut Obama sounded like Bush that's a republican stance? Ridiculous.

"Reaching out to evangelical voters, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is announcing plans that would expand President Bush's program steering federal social service dollars to religious groups and - in a move sure to cause controversy - support their ability to hire and fire based on faith."

    _________

I agree on this one. This is bullcrap, and most likely political pandering. on Obama. Shame on him.

  2. Obamas the man.

  3. maybe if obama ran on McCain's campaign and vice versa, everyone would be happy.  They might as well run on the same ticket since they are mirror images of each other.

  4.         obama  is change

  5. whatever obama says or does just won't cut it ,because  black people are too jealous to vote for him, they themselves want to be the first black president, they will try to vote against him. White people will vote for McCain not because they are racist(although some of them are), but because they want one of there own to be in charge. The asian and the rest just follow the white ppls opinion, why because white people are there friends.
