  1. If an African came to the United States in the 1950s' he was not a poor person and he went to college.  Harvard.  Not a poor man.  If Obamas' half brothers & sister are poor.  It had nothing to do with their father.

  2. It just shows the kind of "change" Obama will bring.  We will all be living in poverty like his brother if he gets elected.

  3. Come back here and ask about he brother when you know all the facts.  And can convince us that you actually give a **** about him.

  4. Apparently his oldest half-brother runs an electronics store in Kenya and consults in Washington a few months a year.

His youngest half-brother, George Obama, is a struggling recluse.  He's met Barack twice, once when he was five, and once in '06.  They are indeed strangers.  He was homeless for ten years, so it's not like he was easy to track down.  He is "good with his fists".  A few members of my family I don't deal with because they're just too far gone -- too deceitful, looking for thousands in loans, etc. -- and they're in the same country, so I can relate.  Also, what struck me about the Vanity Fair piece was how embarrassed George is, that he won't normally acknowledge his relation to Barack.  Seems his story appearing in Vanity Fair may be the first George has spoken openly in recent about his relation to Barack.  This suggests to me that, as a result of George's shame and secrecy, that this is the first that Barack is hearing of George's situation.  I think during a short visit, it's easy to talk to a few family members (he has seven half-siblings) and completely miss how poorly the runt of the litter is doing.  George's predicament doesn't seem to have made it into Barack's book, which further supports the view that George hid his situation -- again, not hard to do in a short trip.

The tie all eight of them have is a father who left them all.  They don't share a country or a way of life or even a religion, so I think it's pretty understandable that the ties aren't strong there.

Now George is trying for technical college, to turn his life around.  For all we know, Barack's visit inspired him to stop living the life of a tough.

  5. That is a good question.  In case those who read your question are not familiar with the Global Tax proposed by Obama, he has proposed that US Citizens be taxed the equivalent of 1.7% of the Gross National Product and those funds would then be given over to a foreign entity to be spent however they want.

The state goal is that the money would be spent to relive poverty, but there are no stipulations to make that happen.  We would simply be giving US dollars away to others to spend as they wish and that money could be spent anywhere.

The same bill also contains passages about gun control and thanking away the right for US citizens to bear arms.

Obama is all about creatign a New World Order.

  6. It doesn't offer solutions help help get people out of poverty at all.  You have to read it!  All it talks about is vaccinating people, investing and loan schemes (to make third-world countries even more dependent and enslaved to other countries because they'll be forever in debt), managing other people's land and natural resources (which I'm pretty sure is for their own personal gain and won't feed anyone at all), and other forms of "population control."

It's basically a harmful economic scheme in the guise of "fighting poverty!"

  7. great question. i'll bet not many liberals try to answer this

  8. Better question.

If Obama allows his own family to live in squalor and poverty do you really think he is going to do anything for the poverty level people in the United States.

  9. I find this amazing that Obama can drum up how many millions for his champaigning and then forget a 'little thing' like family.

  10. What do Cindy McCain's two older half-sisters have to say about that?

LOL... I can't believe you have the nerve to bring this up right now...
