Question:

Is Obama Over-Stepping His Bounds? Your Opinion.?

Obama has been waltzing around Europe making speaches and speaking with leaders in Iraq about troup withdrawal. Today's headline read: "Obama urges Iran to accept EU proposal on nuclear program".

All I can help but think is, "Who does he think he is?!" Does anyone else besides me think Obama is being presumptious? He's not president yet - and I really don't think it's in good taste for him to strut around Europe like the election is a done deal.

  1. A round-about answer to your question....

I just think it's a bit ironic how very few politicians from other nations cruise the globe to give speeches in foreign lands to advance their own platform.

When's the last time the head of another nation came to your city to stomp?

I'd be tempted to put Obama in the same category as Hollywood actors who do the same.

I believe that unless you actually have the ability to make a change and carry the support of your nation with you, you should stay home and leave that job up to the one who does.  Drumming for support should be done at home.

  2. He is trying to show is "ahem" foreign policy expertise.

It is out of line and by passing over the military bases - treasonous!

  3. I think that Obama is trying to make clear for all both in USA and in other countries concerned and interested with the CHANGE in US policy in all issues , that has been destroyed and made a huge number of people who hate US policy during George W. Bush's department ..

For this CHANGE , only Obama can carry and succeed !

Mcchain is a very bad copy of Bush !

I think also that Obama has the right to speek as if he is the next president of USA , and I hope that this will be achived soon !

One thing is disturbing Obama , which is the need for  support of AIPAC and JEWISH lobby to win elections , and I think those "supporters"  are actually against CHANGE!

I dream and hope of a new lobby thinks and dream of USA of G. WASHINGTON not that serves the interests of AIPAC!!!

A department supports justice , freedom, not applying double standards.....

  4. Obama thinks he has this election sealed up.  The media is in love with him.  Every liberal treats him like the Messiah.  It's gone to his head.  He's a liar.  He flip flops his ideas.

  5. first you need to show me where he says he is the president,

he has the right in my opinion to travel the world as a citizen of the world and speak to who ever he wants

Obama is achieving more than all candidates,  and McCain won't shut up about it.

i'm tired of McCain and his childish ways

  6. He's not overstepping anything ... he's just an American making his opinions known .

If you vote for McCain you can't be a democrat ... Aren't you overstepping your bounds?

  7. why? are you afraid he looks to presidential?

  8. i think that it is good that he is making the effort to take the extra steps that mc cain hasnt as a presidential candidate. you should be proud that there is someone from the democratic party that wants to step up and be somebody to make changes for the positive for this country and for the world. i think that he has very stong speeches which make him out to be the stronger candidate and mc cain always has to come out with something negative. you should maybe pay a little more attention and not rush so fast to conclusions. ni hope that you make the right decision when you vote.

  9. That's what Bush gets for taunting him into going.  Who doesn't want Iran to accept the EU proposal on their nuclear program.  Republcans and Democrats alike want that.  McCain strutted around Europe, Asia, Canada and S. America.  What's the difference?  Oh yeah!  The difference is he couldn't draw a crowd over 200,000 people.  It sounds as if you are blaming Obama because people happen to like him.

  10. i think a lot of people feel this way. i was just thinking the same thing yesterday. it's a cocky move imo. and even though i'm not a democrat- i almost don't mind, because this nation needs someone extremely different from bush to turn things around. and i'm hoping obama can do it. i mean, where the h**l is mccain to show us how he can make a change?

  11. Umm apparently you aren't quite up to date on a few things.  McCain already was over there doing the same thing, when Clinton and Obama were still battling it out.

  12. Barry Obama is a phony slick talking Chicago lawyer. A typical pandering politician who would sell his own mother to get elected. He is an idiot, but then, so are most European leaders.
