Correct.  And I'm pretty sure that someone would have noticed by now that he wasn't eligible to run for president.  He was born in Hawaii in 1961, and his birth certificate is posted at www.fightthesmears.com.

Yes. He has a legal birth certificate from the state of Hawaii.

However... McCain's birth was in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936.

So 'technically' speaking based only on birth-place, Obama is more a US Citizen than McCain.

Uhhh yes ... he was born in Hawaii, which, last I checked .... WAS one of the 50 States of the United States of America.

C'mon ... do you honestly think that, if his legal citizenship was in doubt, it would not have been brought out by now?

There is NO way one of the 2 MAJOR political parties in the US would have endorsed him as its candidate unless it had conducted a very thorough background check ... including his citizenship-status!

However, the question is moot.  Obama is a U.S. citizen and is completely eligible for the presidency.  Only the people who are desperately looking for ways to keep him out of office take these claims seriously.
