Question:

Is Obama an idiot? Do you think he didn't pick Hillary for VP because he didn't want a woman beside him?

I can't believe Obama didn't pick Hillary for VP. What the h**l was he thinking? It would have been a landslide victory if Hillary was his VP, but no, he was just too d**n arrogant and he went with Biden. Hillary cared about the American people, she had real ideas, she really would have made this country great again but it’s all over now. Obama now has no chance of winning, McCain is leading in the polls, it’s over for Obama. Four more years of Republican leadership.

I think this was an inside job by a group of people in the Democratic party. There’s a lot of Democrats who hate Hillary, especially in the senate. Obama is young and inexperienced, why didn’t he wait 8 - 12 years to run? I think it’s because he was pressured to run, to get Hillary out. They knew a young black left wing liberal would appeal to people, they knew the constant drilling into people’s heads about “change” would work and Hillary would loose, and that’s what happened. The dirty politics that goes on in this country, it’s disgusting. Obama didn’t pick Hillary for VP because they didn’t want her to have anything to do with it, and as a result of Obama’s arrogance, he’s destroyed his chance at becoming the next president of the United States.

Obama will pay for this. He will not be the next president and as a former Hillary supporter and a life long Democrat I will have to vote for McCain. Obama doesn’t care about women’s rights or GLBT rights or improving healthcare, he cares about turning America into a socialist state. Obama should have picked Hillary, and he didn’t because she’s a woman and because he doesn’t like her.

  1. Wow, that's a lot of suspicion. I believe it had less to do with lengthy plots to destroy a politician's chance of presidency than it did with Hillary and Obama fighting and badmouthing each other for months. The two have many different policy beliefs, and nothing would get done if the President and VP weren't on the same page.

And as one of the many people tired of hearing about how Obama will turn America into a socialist state, i would like to state it is impossible. It is simply impossible for all of America to be made into an entirely socialist state within 4 years.

I also dont think her being a woman has anything to do with it. If your thinking is he didnt pick her because shes a woman, many could argue you wont vote for Obama because he's black. But we both know that is simply not true.  I dont think you have any place to make the calls of what he cares about and what he doesnt.

And, if you hate the idea of 4 more years of Republican rule, why vote for McCain. The belief of "lesser of two evils" is no way to pick the man who will essentially be leading your life for 4 years.

  2. believe it or not, that's the only smart thing obama ever did,not picking woman as a v.p

  3. I think he didn't pick Hillary because Hillary wasn't about to play Second Fiddle to Obama!  LOL  what makes you think Hillary WANTED to be in that position?  Another reason could be all the Hillary haters out there... anti-feminists, and others who would never vote for a black man AND a woman!

These decisions are based on what's best for scoring a WIN for the party... that's all.  That's why we have S****y candidates to choose from time and time again!

By the way... socialism CAN work in some areas of society.

Just like communism CAN work in some societies.

Open your little box and jump out for a look now and then...

ADDED:  Kass, after reading your response to another answerer, you OBVIOUSLY are full of **** and had no intention of voting for Obama, anyhow.

You just wasted all of our time with your silly little "Look What Obama Did to Hillary" rant.

  4. If Obama picked Hilary for his VP his presidency should he win would be a living nightmare.

He would constantly have Bill and Hillary telling him what to do.. The executive branch would be in serious disarray.

That said Hilary would cause him to lose.

She is a radical man hater, look at the garbage she pulled during her candidacy for the presidency.

Women only rallies, hiring  men to say sexist remarks and lastly crying sexism when ever she didn't get her way.

She is a hate full person. Even though I seriously disagree with Obama on several points at least I know he wouldn't totally destroy what few rights I have left because of my gender.

It has nothing to do with her gender but everything to do with her hate full radical feminist ideology.

She pandered to female voters while not only ignoring male voters but insulting us and then Mrs.Clinton and her supporters cry sexism when we tune out and vote elsewhere.

To Hillary supporters: Take your hate elsewhere. America has decided we don't want it.

P.S Email McCain's  campaign suggesting he pick Sarah Palin (R) Alaskan Governor for VP!

  5. you make no sense at all you say you would have vote for Obama if he would have picked Hillary, cause your tried of Republicans in office but since he didn't your going to vote for the other party your nothing but a sore loser. and its really sad that alot of people think like you just sad

  6. is Hillary any kind of a women, or a LADY?

  7. I'll be frank ; YES.... & no, he already has a wife..

  8. He should have picked Hillary for VP, but please don't vote for McCain. Hillary supports Obama, and McCain will just s***w up this country even more.

BTW, McCain is anti-abortion/women's rights, along with being a pro-gun, pro-war imbecile. DO NOT VOTE FOR HIM OUT OF SPITE.

  9. It's funny you say Obama will turn America into a socialist state, but Clinton was the one all for government health care, similar to that of socialists nation, same-same right? Anyway, there was no doubt Clinton and Obama disliked each other, so why would he put someone he didn't like to work with him in a more direct situation? I know I wouldn't make that choice!

  10. Obama didn't pick Senator Clinton because he feels like he can have a better working relationship with Joe Biden. It has nothing to do with him being against women or against Hillary Clinton. Before you vote for McCain, you should know about the Violence Against Women Act that was written by and passed into law by Joe Biden(link below). To say that Obama doesn't care ab Also know that if McCain is elected, the right for women to get abortions would also be in serious jeopardy, even in instances of rape or family violence that leads to pregnancy. Hillary Clinton is one of the finest legislators in the country. There was nothing personal in Obama's decision not to add Senator Clinton to the ticket. Please reconsider your vote before we end up with four more years of h**l, which is what a McCain presidency would bring.

  11. I'm still amazed people are actually gullible enough to actually believe anything a politician says.

Our government will never change when candidates are in the pockets of lobbyists and special interest groups.

Republican or democrat. Clinton, McCain or Obama, it doesn't matter this country will still be governed by rich a******s who are more concerned with enlarging their pockets than foreign policy, national debt, the economy, rising gas prices, social issues, etc.

Every election since at least Reagan has been about picking between dumb and dumber.

    This year isn't any different.

  12. Honestly, I'm glad he didn't. I do not think that she would be a good choice for President or VP.  I mean, either way he wasn't getting my vote, but at least if he gets elected it won't be as bad as it could have been.

Noting against Hillary for the record. I think it's great that she ran, and that she is a powerful woman and got as far as she did. I just don't think that America is ready for a woman president, much less another Clinton in office.

  13. I don't know where to begin with how wrong you are, so I'll just say that basically everything you said is wrong and leave it at that.

  14. If elected, Obama will need to get out in front of the country, set his agenda and sell it.  That'd be nearly impossible with the egoes and levels of influence that both Hillary and her ex-President husband would possess if back in the White House.

This isn't a slam on the Clintons; it's just recognition that they're very powerful people with very strong personalities who don't do well taking a back seat to others.

I'm open to the argument that Hillary Clinton would make a good president, but I'm convinced that she'd make a terrible VP.

  15. Obama didn't choose Hillary for VP because he doesn't want an emotional twit as his running mate.

  16. dude, i'll be the first to tell you obama isn't perfect on GLBT rights, but McCain actively hates us... And Obama is rated 100% by NARAL. McCain is one of the biggest opponents of choice. A vote for McCain for a woman or a g*y (or both) is like swallowing a shotgun...

I didn't think he would pick Clinton, and it's because she was less than supportive when she "conceded" and because she is viewed as divisive.

For the record, I didn't vote in the primary because I couldn't decide - i liked them both!

  17. There was no way to convince people that Obama and Clinton have reconciliated after the bitter primary contest.  People have to believe you have integrity in order to vote for you.

  18. He probably didn't want to have to sleep with one eye open.

  19. Your question is failing miserably at trying to get the Obama doubters and "swing voters" to slide over to McCain's side.  Never happen.

Obama may not be MY first choice for presidential candidate, (neither was HIllery) but at least he's not a Republican- BUSH Part II.

McCain is a war monger, an elitist, and a Big Business/Oil Company w***e-- Like MOST republicans have been since Reagan sold out this country...

Our country is in the toilet economically, ecologically, morally, and emotionally since Bush took over almost 8 years ago.  We're trillions and trillions in debt, unemployment is the highest it's been since before the FIRST Bush F'ed us over with his administration.... we're the laughingstock of every other modern country around the world.

Have you forgotten 9-11?  Have you forgotten Katrina??  (Those people STILL haven't gotten help!) Have you forgotten the last 2 crooked elections?

Well it's come down to Obama and McBush... I'll take Obama.

  20. I don't know it might be out of gratitude for the kind words Biden has had for Obama I mean he did call him a nice clean boy

  21. Yeah Obama is a real winner isn't he with his ignorant anti father bigotry. And Hilary with her women only ideals yep they would have done wonders together.

That team up would have insured that our country became someone else's in a hurry. Liberals are a bunch of pansies who want to control every aspect of others lives through bigger government.

Edit Baba Yaga "women's rights are families rights" Rofl how can giving privileges to one person in a family be good for the whole family. I think feminists have quit even trying to listen to the blatant misandry that comes out of their mouths.

And Osama/Hitlery would have ensured our doom.

  22. You sound absolutely ridiculous right now. Please, just stop. Hello, Obama and Hillary were rivals. They hate each other. There was a lot of backstabbing, especially in the Clinton administration. The better person won, get over it. We will have a woman president some day, just not now. Hillary is not as good as Obama and is more power hungry while Obama seems to actually care. He talks about women's rights and g*y rights all the time. He cannot openly support g**s because many would not vote for him, but he has given many hints towards his support for g**s. Biden is a political strategy that will help him capture many other votes. Plus, they get along. Get over yourself. McCain is the anti-woman. He's the one making crude and sexist jokes, is absolutely opposed to g*y rights, will turn our healthcare system and debt to society even worse, will not pull of of the ******* war and create a peace system run by people there, and so ******* on. Obama rocks. He is my man.

Forgot to add... Obama believes in a woman's right to abortion. McCain does not. It's unfortinante that we have many people playing the race card against Obama and the gender card against Hillary. Do you really think you are being any more progressive right now by making blind accusations against Obama and deciding to get some blind and lack-of-common-sense payback, by voting for a White man who is conservative instead of a Black man who did what was right, beat his opponent that you happened to support, and is progressive/more like you in ideals?

You give feminists like me such a bad name.

*Hopefully you consider this a lesson before casting your vote; something I cannot do just because I'm 16 when I have more sense than most

  23. "Obama didn’t pick Hillary for VP"... stop there...let me finish the sentence...because:

    1. Hitlery...whoops...I mean Hillery sucks.

    2. She appears to be a man that has been strategically shaved and put in a dress.

  24. He picked an old catholic white man to appeal to the more conservative voters...very smart, but still not enough to get my vote.

What has he done for my state since he has been senator? NADA. (I live in IL) Since he became senator, he's been eyeing the Oval Office. I won't vote for someone who won't take care of the people. i don't believe he will, seeing as how he's abandoned IL.

  25. I think Biden is the most qualified person he could have chosen. Hillary hasn't proven herself to be as strong a politician as we may have thought. It has nothing to do with gender or personal dislike; it has to do with what he needs to run the country, and that is the foreign policy experience of Biden. And let me tell you, if she were on the ticket, the Republican attacks would be twice as intense.

  26. Seriously?  You are going to put up Hillary against Joe Biden?  That's laughable.

  27. Woah! Woah! Woah!....wait a darn minute....Hilary Clinton is a WOMAN?!!!....how?....where was I when this was announced?...

    Is she pre-op or post-op?

  28. he could not have picked hillary for the same reason she did not get the democratic nomination--Bill is a liability

  29. if you vote for mccain....you must not care aobut GLBT rights, or improving healthcare. you think republicans care anything about that? obama does care about women's rights. the fact that he picked hilary has nothing to do with her being a woman....it has to do with the fact that hilary wasn't the right candidate. i am a woman...i didn't vote for hillary. if obama hadn't been in this contest...i probably wouldn't have voted for her either. stop trying to play the victim role.

if you're a life long democrat....you'll work your hardest to get a democrat into the white house.

even hillary clinton spoke out today and praised obama for choosing biden.

  30. Obama picked Biden because he believed Biden could bring a strength and balance to the ticket that Clinton could not, not because he and some others were sexist.  I would have liked to see her there, too, but she might not have accepted the position if it were offered to her.  I believe that she'll go back to her Senate seat and from there run for governor of NY state.  She may try again for the Presidency in 2016, or 2012 if McCain wins in November.

Frankly, I wish there were better choices than the two we have.  I have no great confidence in either of them.  And in the US in 2008, women's rights are families' rights.

  31. In my opinion, his choice had nothing to do with sexism.

Obama is frequently criticized for his lack of experience, and Biden brings 35 years of experience. So Obama was trying to soften that blow.

Also, Biden has ties with Pennsylvania and Ohio, and the white working class citizens there don't relate to Obama..they favored Hillary in the primaries. So he may win some votes there.

It was a diplomatic move on Obama's part. I'm not a huge fan of him, but I like him over McCain.
