I don't think Obama is behind it.  Remember, the "liberal" Democrats are against any form of discrimination against people with disabilities, including old people, the physically disabled, or the mentally infirm.  

I actually think that some of McCain's detractors on the Republican side may be behind it.  Some of them don't like him because he's "not conservative enough", whatever that means.

BTW Solomon: McCain made his full medical records available for review by the news media.  Obama refused to do this and only released selected documents.

I mean the McCain campaign has done equally low blows.  I wouldn't want Obama to stoop to that level.. but I do think it needs to be done.

They check your health for the Presidency. Most jobs do. give a physical. Esspessially  the most important job in the country. Im sure they drug test them too.
