Is Obama going to cut or raise taxes?

Obama is touting how he'll cut taxes for the middle class 3x as much as Johnny Mac.

But everyone is saying how he'll raise taxes and turn our recession into a depression. What will he raise taxes on, and who will be affected by the tax raises?

Is he going to cut AND raise taxes simultaneously?

What he says and what will be is not the same.  Just by letting the tax cuts go is going to increase your taxes by 2 to $3,000.  WAKE UP.  With the entitlement programs he is planning, no way in h**l are you not going to pay more taxes.

He is not called the Taxman for nothing. He will raise taxes and 70% no doubt. The guy is a screwball on capitol gains arguements also.  People think it is bad now,  all them lies he is telling about taxes and certain yearly income.  He is going to tax every single person in America, and if they get home with 50% of their paychecks,  that will be a miracle in itself. That guy is a nutcase, that is why he has brought old Hillary into the his campaign, he Obama himself can not argue any issues with McCain, because he does not know what he is talking about.  Now Hillary there, she can lie and distort the truth better than any other candidate for President in the last 100 years can do.  That is the real reason she is there, Obama knows he can not go one on one with McCain, and Hillary has been a liar and corrupt long enough to lie her way throught any thing.  Only way he even has a chance of being elected is with Hillary, the same old lady who jumped ship on her own supporters.

The overwhelming majority of us will be hit with a tax increase.  To say otherwise is simply not looking at his proposals.  He claims tax cuts but everything he suggests is a tax increase.  In addition to that, we will all indirectly see tax hikes in the form of increased prices by his policies of placing larger taxes on corporations.  For instance, his windfall tax proposal would simply cost all of us as the oil companies would be forced to increase their prices.  A very basic understanding of economics shatters what he says he will be able to do.

Of course he will raise taxes, some will be more that others, but everyone is going to get slapped.  The only ones that will not get a tax hike are the extremely poor and illegals they will get a free pass.  If you fall in the middle and of couse the upper income you can count on a tax increase.  Other ways Obama will make you pay is, indirect taxes, remember he is going to tax those evil corporation that make to much money.  In turn those evil corporation will have to raise the price of good you buy.
