If he is, it is not in the video you have linked.  That is Whoopi Goldberg; Obama is nowhere in sight.

EDIT - Whoopi's point is that she doesn't have to play the race card.  As she says in the video, the race card is always there, pinned to her sleeve.  If you are asking whether Obama views race the same way as Whoopi, I would say that his experience may be similar to hers.  But maybe the best answer to your question might be found in HIS words, not Whoopi's.  His feelings about race were discussed pretty thoroughly in his speech during the Rev. Wright controversy.  Obama appears to be urging us to look past race, stop throwing stones on either side and get on with it already.

It's difficult to miss his race so there is no need for him to play the race card.  I have known his race since "the race" began.  Ya think that McCain is not playing to upper class white men????
