Don't forget a large swath of the population (mostly youth) who aren't included in these polls since they don't use landlines and aren't reached by the pollsters. They live on the internet, mobile phones, text messaging, etc. (I'm 32 and never use or barely answer my landline either...I've seen "Gallup" on my caller ID's missed calls too.)

If youth voter apathy can subside this year, we should see a huge wave of young voters who aren't being rightly included in these statistics come out to vote in droves and skew the final numbers in Obama's favor.

Yep, it's all downhill from now although the lib media is trying to make a big deal about Palin's daughter but that's all the ammo they have against McCain. We may as well let them use it otherwise we wouldn't have an election about issues.

If you're going to focus on changes in polling percentages, you might as well ask that question every six hours because they change that frequently.  None of the candidates worry about the polls, their staff does.  They make adjustments accordingly.  Both expects ups and downs in the polls.  The person trailing has to make the biggest adjustments, not the person leading.

No.  There are other polls that show him getting a bigger bump from the convention.  Besides, the only poll that truly matters is the one in November.  He still has time to change things around if he thinks he's falling behind.
