Obama was telling them that not everyone will become NBA superstars and to apply themselves. Not realizing his microphone was on, Jackson said "See, Barack been talking down to black people . . . I wanna cut his nuts out,"

  1. Nope.  Just some straight talk, and it is refreshing.  I think you are seeing some of the old black politicians who have been involved in the movement since MLK becoming upset because Obama is not falling in line.  He is trying to actually make real change within the black community with these comments, which are right on.

  2. The problem is; black people need to learn to speak and understand English instead of Ebonics. I mean what knid of word is aks, (ask).

  3. To say Obama talks  down to black people could be construed as racist and inaccurate.

When , in fact , Obama talks down to everyone .

  4. In my opinion it is Jackson who desires to keep blacks down by perpetuating a victim mentality.  - While at the same time representing himself (or the similarly inclined al sharpton) as their spiritual counselors and saviours.  Hey, it pays the bills!

  5. NO - and you really must consider the source!

But I'm sure some white people will have their opinions on just how black Americans thinks.

  6. Jesse Jackson is all about keeping the pot stirred up.  He really has no interest in solving any problems--then he'd be out of a job.

By the way, nice words coming  from a man of God.

  7. This is one of the few areas I agree with Obama or any other leader. He is trying to inspire the black community to reach for more and take personal responsibility for where they are headed.

    Jesse Jackson is an idiot.

Eww I just defended Obama......must take a break to recover.

  8. Jesse's just jealous because he failed when he ran for president, he is no longer relevant and should just go back to extorting money from corporations because they don't hire enough minorities

  9. No.  Jackson is just mad.

  10. No. If people would actually listen, or at least clarify what they are saying at the time , then misunderstandings wouldn't happen.  No, I'm not an Obama supporter, just someone who wishes certain people would learn how to communicate instead of avoiding answers.

  11. Jackson thinks every person is talking down to black people, that man is not happy unless he is complaining about something, so I don't take anything he says seriously.  To me his opinion is about as meaningful as Bush's is.

I do love the fact that he was caught saying it though, he loves to come down when others say things he doesn't like, so it is great to see him get a taste of his own medicine.
