  1. I was going to give this rather ridiculous question a pass then I remembered a story from about then that you might have confused with the current politics. I think you might have been thinking of The Emperor of the United States.

He was a black man that suffered a raging fever when he was a young man. It damaged his brain and he thought of himself a s the Emperor of The United States. People thought him amusing. He would write out edicts and proclamations and read them out very seriously. People would give him money that he referred to as "taxes".

A hotel took him in and kept him in a nice suite. They used him as an attraction. He was charged 10% of his daily take and allowed him to post his proclamations and edicts in the lobby. The name of the hotel was the Palace. The man treated the staff as his servants which they accepted good naturedly. The man lived until he was about fifty years old.

  2. John Hanson was the President of the Continental Congress in 1781, not the United States.

  3. First of all, he's not the president - YET :)  Second, no, there has never been another black president before. And a change would be good in my opinion.

  4. Some say Thomas Jefferson was because he had a sister on the side, he had da jungle fever with Sally Hemmings

  5. 1. possibly the first black president

    2. completely false

  6. no, in 1781 slavery was still a norm in the US.  unless he was president of the slaves for a plantation i doubt it is true.

  7. It wasnt a US president. It was a country that we owned in Africa. The only other country to have a President, since we owned it. It was America like Guam is America.

  8. NO, AND NO! BUSH IS PRESIDENT!

  9. 1) no

    2) no

  10. No he would be the First.. White people still see him as Black even if he is bi-racial

  11. Do you have a problem if he is black?

    Just tell me.

Ofcourse, he is the blackest president we ever had in the U.S as per my research on the web.

  12. Where are you at because you are really missing all the action.  Obama is not nothing but a Senator from Illinois and that he isn't do a good job with. No wonder the state is going to pot.

  13. no he is the 2nd black man to run for president the first black man was jesse jackson hope that helps

  14. If your gonna make crazy claim have at least a fake website or blog.

  15. HAHA

you seriously think that they would let a black person be president in 1781???

Stupid white people used black people as slaves, and you think we would have a black president back then?

    HA..

Okay, sorry. Just found this question funny.

And Obama will be the first black president.

  16. no and no

  17. Actually he is the first black person to be NOMINATED in a major political party.

And yes, he is BI racial, but of course people are going to call him black because that is the color of his skin...not that it even friggen matters!

  18. Obama is bi-racial.

  19. I believe in 1781 they still had slavery.

  20. Clinton thought he was the 1st black president.

  21. He could be the first, although he would have been the second if blacks hadn't disowned Bill Clinton while he campaigned for Hillary. Remember early in the campaign when the leaders of the NAACP were saying that Obama wasn't "as black" as Bill?

As for 1781, there could not have been a US President who was black because there had never been a US President to that point.

  22. it wasn't the presidency as it is now and i dont know who but a prominent black writer or entertainer of some sort kind of tongue in cheek refered to bill clinton as first black president

  23. obama is not black...he is mixed...he has black in him...so is he the 2 president with black in him?  he is not even the president...so i cant even answer this question.  and back in 1781...a black person may have been the president of the slaves but not the president of the USA.

  24. No.

If he gets elected, he still won't be the first black president.

half and half, raised in the white community by a white mother and white grandparents. He is not a black man.

Maybe a good man, certainly a smart man but not a black man.

  25. clinton was the first black president...and barry hasn't been "elected" yet

  26. Maya Angelou said Clinton was the 1st black president. Gag me!! Acccckkkk!! Anyway if I have my druthers we'll have to wait a little while longer for our REAL and WORTHY first black president. (Obama's goin' down!!)

  27. Black President was and is a term of endearment meant to emphasis Bill Clinton's ability to be fair and compassionate in his policies toward people of color.

The very first President "Washington" took office in 1789 so if there were a "Black President" it was an informal position and not of the United States as there were no United States at that time.

There is only one President and that's the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

  28. obama isnt presedent yet

  29. 1781 - no

    Clinton - white bread poser

    Obama - Oreo halfbreed

  30. Obama isn't president yet. Did you know that he was supposed to go visit the base where the military goes in Germany before they get sent home from the war, but when he found out that there was no cameras or media allowed there he declined to go? Bi Racial or not- common, he could have gone to visit for a reason other than public popularity.

  31. 1. No. hes the 1st.

    2. thats was probably a rumor. so it's not.
