  1. Yes.

The elitist Left believes only people who live in the Boston-Washington corridor, the San Francisco- San Diego corridor, Seattle (but not the rest of WA) and MAYBE Chicago (but not the rest of IL) are important.

All the rest of us live in "fly-over" states (that one must fly over to get somewhere important).

  2. Nope! Ohio is so full of fun and history, it's not EVEN funny!

For instance, Cedar Point, near Sandusky, is probably the Roller Coaster capital of hte world!

The Ohio State Fair, in the beginning of August, is the biggest state fair in the US. And, it has something that no other state fair has; The All Ohio State Fair Band and the All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir. No other state fair has these excellent opportunities for high school musicians!

We have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and the Football Hall of Fame in Canton.

We are the home state of eight US presidents.

We have the most unique state capital building int he US.

We are the home of John Glen and Neil Armstrong (who has a really great little museum in his home town),

Wright-Patterson AFB has a wonderful museum.

    King's Island.

Steubenville is the home of Dean Martin.

Thomas Edison and the Wright brothers were from Ohio.

    Bob Hope and Roy Rogers.

Anyone who's seen the TV series "M*A*S*H" want to go to Toledo and try a Tony Packo's Hungarian Hot Dog and see a Toledo Mud Hen's game.

Jack Hanna is director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo. He helped build it to what it is today.

And there's the Ohio State University, and the horse-shoe shaped football stadium. If you can't get to see a football game, go to the skull session for the marching band! See the famous "script Ohio". And hear why the state rock song is "Hang On Sloopy".
