Is One Day It'll All Make Sense, Common's defintive album?

Its my fav Common Album album & when oh my fav albums ever.

I will agree. It introduced us to the "Afrocentric", "conscious" brother from Chicago with a voice that we all know today. Prior, his lyrics lacked substance, and were often raunchy and disrespectful to women.

I could subscribe to this idea.  I wanted to say otherwise, but Chuck made some great points that I can't deny.  I am a bigger fan of Like Water for Chocolate, but as I said, Chuck's perspective really sheds light on the question for me.
