  1. Northern Ontario has a lot of French. Try places like North Bay.


  2. The Government of Ontario is officially bilingual providing services in both English and French.  But most people speak English.  So in short the answer is no.

    However there are areas that speak mostly French and these people are called Franco-Ontarians.  They have lived here for hundreds of years and consider themselves Ontarians.  Quebecois are different as are Acadians although all three speak French.

    The major areas of French speakers is Eastern Ontario, Ottawa-Gatineau, and North Bay.

  3. well, essentially no. however, technically yes.  about 90% of ontarions are naturally english, and i would be amazing if there was an ontarian who only knew french. although, by the goverment almost everything is bilingueal, most people are english.
