Is Optional Practical Training (OPT) eligible to be employed as an Assistant Professor at University?

I have Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Employment Authorization Card ((F1 VISA status). Am I eligible to be employed as an Assistant Professor at University?

Not based on the information given.  You also must have a Masters Degree or higher, Ph.D preferred.  The Visa status gives you legal rights to work in the USA, not guaranteed rights.  That is up to the university you wish to teach at.  Good luck.
