There are three Orange Counties in the US, one each in New York, Florida, and California.  The one in Florida is the only one of the three that I'd even consider living in.

It depends on where you live, and what you like to do. In general, Orange County is cleaner and safer than Los Angeles, but it can get very monotonous and homogenous, as a lot of Orange County is a sea of typical suburban tract housing and strip shopping centers. Some areas are exclusive and very nice, but be prepared for very high rent or high priced homes. The best benefit of living in Orange County are the beaches and a better than average job market.
