Is PAN card a valid proof for visitng Nepal from India??

We are a group of architects (08 nos.) from Delhi, want to visit Nepal during August. 6 of us have Election cards/Passports but rest two doesn't have these cards, but have PAN card which is a photo identity card issued by Income Tax Department, Govt. of India. Will that be valid to visit the place? Otherwise what should we do?? Please Help!!!!!!!!

  2. I am not sure of PAN card as a valid travel document to enter Nepal. Actually, passports or photo identity cards (issued by government or union territory, or election commission or embassy of India and Kathmandu) are the valid documents. Even with photo and personal information, Ration card or driving license or school/college ID card is not valid. Hence, either call Nepalese embassy in Delhi or your travel agent to confirm. You can ask for a document from the embassy also.

  3. Photo Identity card is enough to enter Nepal if you are bonafide Indian citizen. Welcome to Nepal guys.
