Is Pacman afraid to fight the Hitman?

I'm beggining to think he is afraid. Hatton is clearly the biggest money fight in Pacmans path. The Hitmans fans follow him anywhere. So why is Pacman avoiding him?

I want this fight to happen. I don't know who would win, but I do know it will not go past 8.

i love manny pac man but i khow he will get bossed by hatton.

Hold on Pinoy folks, don't let the sun set on pac yet. I agree Hatton is bigger physically, but not faster. Pac at 140, Hatton is OK.  Paquiao has been advised by his trainer, Roach, to just take on Hatton, however it would be to risky for pac to stay at 140.

Ok SF49ers, calm down lol. We all know manny is fast, but I have been watching both of these boxers fight for a long time. I am a fan of both, I believe manny has a good chance at beating hatton, but I hatton is very fast also. We all know hatton gets hit alot, but he can take alot. We all know manny gets hit also, the question is can he get smacked in the face with a brick and keep coming? Can he take a sledge hammer to the ribs and bounce back? Manny doesn't cower like mayweather so he will take some damage. IMO hatton by tko, but a great fight.

And thats what I think too. If I was Pacman I wouldn't give him the chance to knock me off. Pacman is lighter he has to go up. Hatton has to come down. I think it would be to find Hatton an easy win. Mayweather beat him all over the ring. Put Hatton up with DelaHoya to see which one was the better loser apponent against the greatest for now Mayweather. Undefeated is nice.  I think the golden boy will tromp over Hatton. And I think if Hatton really wants to fight Pacman he is a chump trying the underweight guys

I think that the Hitman is too big for the Pacman. THe Pacman would have to beef UP to 140 lbs. where the Hitman has to dry out to make 140. The Pacman has never fought at 140 and the Hitman has fought at 147.

This would be a great match & I hope it's their next. Pacquiao did a alright job againts Diaz's awful approach. At times his corner gave him good advise but he didn't seem to listen. Diaz just needed to throw more punches to obstruct Pacquiao's constant punching. It wasn't that Manny was too fast and strong. Diaz just wasn't throwing enough punches.

Rather crouching down, blocking, and hardly watching his opponent. I don't see Hatton having these problems with his rambunctiouness. The only problem Hatton has is that he lunges forward with his guard down. That's how Mayweather got him coming in. He should lunge already throwing punches defensively or work his way in blocking and then quickly start his arsenal. Grappling, like Hatton likes to do, will not work on someone like Pacquiao who hardly gets tired. But may frustrate him since he likes to fight. Either way moving up in weight and muscle development or not Pacquiao has the more difficult end. But who's to say he won't do well. Besides that it's a psychological match made in heaven and what the fans want to see. I guarantee you The Golden Boy will make it happen and it'll be the fight of the year. The result could go either way but I say what's more probable is a Ricky Hatton KO over Manny Pacquiao and lots of money involved.
