  1. Mushy lost all his power because of the army he was leading had lost faith him .The top army officials were not loyal to him ,which made him step down as the army chief. Again, not mention, backstabbing and betrayal has been the history of Pakistanis which forced mushy to step down from presidency . He is a lone man now in Pakistan .

  2. do you realize they are a strict muslim country, that women are considered property? is that what you want here in the USA? IS IT?????!!!

  3. haha! hilarious!

When Nawaz Sharif was the Prime Minister, then Army Chief Pervez Musharraf stormed into the residence of Prime Minister, threw him in exile and declared himself as the President of Pakistan.

    Would you call that democracy?

Quick addition: Dear Syed Mujib...whatever adventure sports is India trying? Please open your eyes and stop listening to what your politicians are saying.

    Additional Details -

Musharraf ruled for about 9 years. If you are not happy with your President, you can change em in 4 years. Pakistan didn't have a choice. How can you still say that Pakistan is a better democracy than US??

  4. Wrong category for this question. Should be posted in Jokes & riddles.

  5. Yes, you should go live there.

  6. No, that's silly.

  7. Well thanks for the sentiments. For a change we in pakistan are also able to see democracy flourishing. Hope India or Afghanistan abstain from adventurism in Pakistan which may provide armed forces a raison d'etre to topple the democracy.

  8. It's more democratic than it was yesterday.

But watch out for the army - they're the ones that put a dictator in power to start with.

As for comparing America, it's apples and oranges - different cultures, different standards of democracy.
