  1. The Real weakness is McCains and i suspect Rove's pandering attempt.

Its refreshing to see women on YA calling it what it is (reactionary pandering) and proving men wrong when they sometimes say women vote on 'emotions' and not 'policy'.

What is really sickening is that Rove/McCain would use a woman to trick another woman into voting against her own interest.

  2. Wow...McCain's pick was a stroke of genius.  You leftists are terrified of her lol

  3. 1. Not necessarily. This question, I think is you grabbing for straws.

    2. A fair question. Nothing really. But her presence on the ticket reinforces McCain's goals of 1. Appealing to the voting bloc which believes America is lacking in morality; 2. Bringing in a partner who is a true Washington "outsider" intent upon helping to bring reform. 3. Appealing to the dis-enfranchised female Hillary supporters who are already Independents and Moderates (McCain knows that Palin being a woman is not sufficent enough to appeal to the Hillary-ites who are already hard-left liberals); 4. Bringing in a partner who, like himself  - has courage, conviction and principle to stand up against her own party bosses.

  4. I consider it a strength. She is an enegy experts and that is all about American jobs. You can't get to work and back on sunshine and hot air.

  5. I'll try answering you question with a question: if "Politics" can be descibed as a philosophy in which there is no right or wrong, but only matters of convenience, would you not feel more comfortable knowing that judgement is exercise by leaders with some moral grounding?

  6.   So the fact that she had a baby who is mentally retarded, vice an abortion, a political move?  The fact that as Governer, she did nothing to stop her son from going into harm's way, was a political ploy?   See, you guys are so out of touch with reality that you cannot see that this woman is what a typical American  woman's family is really like!!!

  7. Obviously the Republicans- over all do not care about such issues as American jobs -the tract record of the last almost 8 years proves that beyond a doubt.

  8. I think it's very important to remember that 100 years ago, there was a maverick politician who also was quite an outdoorsman, loved to hunt moose, bear, elk-- especially with many ceo's and corporate heads-- and his name was...

    .....Teddy Roosevelt.

Great minds think alike and hunt alike.

  9. Apparently a lot more than you would think...you'd think that Americans were the most moral and upstanding people on the planet, instead of the biggest violaters of human rights.

  10. hahaha, did he really call Palin an "energy experts?" (sic)  that's just so silly.  what she did is contracted with a foreign company to build a pipeline.  what, we don't have american companies that do this sort of work?  then she says it's to help us to not be dependent on foreign companies.  that's hilarious.

(ahem, excuse please)  as to your question, i don't see Palin as any more moral than any other bureaucrat.  indeed, perhaps less so.  i do see her as heavy handed.  she's cut the throat of some that have helped her career.  obviously a poor mother, Track ran off to the Army as soon as he turned 18, now, Bristol throwing her life away with early pregnancy and marriage.  they don't believe in education is Wasilla?  of course, when is mom ever home?  she always seems to have other things to do.

in short, i'm not as enamored with Ms Palin as the right professes to be.  i doubt the thinking among them are either.  and i've never really been all that gaga over pageant queens, finding them mostly plastic and vacuous.

besides, at the end of the day morality is subjective and has little to do with the work at hand.
