Question:

Is Palin a good choice for McCain's VP?

Obama spokesman Bill Burton said...Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency. Governor Palin shares John McCain's commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush's failed economic policies -- that's not the change we need, it's just more of the same.

  1. I would like to see her go against Obama joe Biden in a game of one-on-one (she was on an actual basketball team).

And in my mind, a mayor and governor does a lot more than a "community activist" and senator with the same number of years experience - She has actually run something for a living! She also went after a corrupt member of her own party (usually political suicide) and won, that's the kind of community activist I want.  And she isn't too bad looking either. And I bet she probably knows the difference between a battalion and brigade.

  2. Excellent choice!

    McCain/Palin 08

  3. Yes, she is a very good choice.

  4. ofcourse she is!!!

Palin is a Gov. and has the same experience than Obambi!!!!!!!!

  5. I think it will attract some Democratic voters, but also put off some Republican voters too.

Get ready to kiss Roe vs Wade goodbye. Women will lose the right for abortions if McCain/Palin are elected. McCain is totally against abortions, and Palin is extremely pro-life.

  6. Better than a lot of people think.

  7. Small town ethics, she runs a state that has successfully balanced oil and the echo system , she is not going to put to the side the disabled have given birth to a downs syndrome child , Like it or not McCain has found the solution to the oil crisis in our country without dealing with the Saudis and he has found a solution that is not an empty promise.

Bowyer: How Palin Will Help McCain

    Posted By:Jerry Bowyer

Now, what does it mean. It means that drill, drill, drill gets stronger. Sarah knows this stuff inside and out. She can back McCain in the defense of drilling, transporting and refining oil. She puts ANWR back on the map. Who knows it better than the governor of Alaska.

  8. She's an EXCELLENT choice. She's conservative, Pro-Life, Morale and has a lot more expertise under her belt than people realize - yet. It's not wise to listen to an opposite party on their belief of they're competition.

  9. yes very good choice

he will get a lot of women voters

mccain is the best president choice over barack

  10. In actuality, Palin is a brilliant choice for a running mate.  Palin brings not only experience in an executive branch of government (which Biden nor Obama has) but youth and vigor.  Most of all Palin brings what Obama decided was not needed ...... a woman to the ticket!

Stop and think about this before making any decisions about who you are voting for in November!  What happens to this country if and when something dreadful would occur to Obama.  Joe Biden would then be president!  OMG!  What a scary thing that is!

Then you would have to consider what would happen if Something should happen to McCain, too!  The USA would then have it's first Madam president, and I could live with that, as long as it isn't Hillary.

  11. Bad move on Johnny's part. She's married to an oil executive too

  12. exactly how much executive experience does the obama/biden ticket have?

  13. It depends on what you want.

10 Reasons one would be giddy about Palin on the ticket

    1. A woman...you don't care about her views..you just want to see a woman in office.

    2. You love guns and believe everyone has the right to tote one, including machine guns.

    3. You believe if the polar bears go extinct as long as gas is cheaper

    4. You want to drill in Alaska

    5. Your Pro-Life even in cases of rape and incest

    6. Homosexuals are second class citizens who shouldn't have the right to marry.

    7. It's acceptable to fire someone for "not being a team player" because he failed to fire your ex-brother in law.

    8. You don't care that she has no federal level experience including foreign affairs or national policy.

    9. Your just glad McCain picked someone, as you have no plans on voting for Obama anyway.

    10. You thought she looked great in Vogue

If that's you..then YES it was a grand choice!!!! McCain and Palin in '08!!

  14. zero foreign policy experience????

hahahah figures that would come from an OBAMA spokesman...

    hypocrites

  15. As an Obama supporter, I think she is an excellent pick!!

  16. she is a good pick...she is there to help the president

  17. No.  I think he may just have handed the Presidency to Obama.  For heaven's sake, she is under investigation for abuse of power. She tried to make a subordinate fire her state trooper ex-brother-in-law.  What?  Since when is that ethical?  You as the governor, try to make someone in your administration fire your ex-brother-in-law because you don't like him anymore?  And married to an Oil Exec, to boot.

  18. I think that's a good summary.  She has far less experience than Obama (20 months as governor of a state with only slightly larger population than the district for which Obama was state senator for 8 years, and former mayor of a city with 6,000 population).  She's anti-choice, has ties to the oil industry...really I don't know what she brings to the ticket.

I really dislike Romney, but at least he would have brought the economic experience that McCain lacks.  Palin brings....ovaries?

  19. wow...thats alarming!!

  20. I think McCain feels that he can attract Hillary supporters by choosing "some woman."  As you know, he believes all "chicks" are alike and well worth disrespecting.
