Is Palin best political representation for women?

She has 5 children, one newborn with down sundrome and she is supposed to able to balance McCain, the NATION and two wars (right now)....I'm offended and I think McCain just did it for political posturing...

All that hard work Hillary did and you vote for her opposites views and values?

The only reason she was chosen is BECAUSE she is  a woman.

And the only reason women supported hillary is BECAUSE she is a woman.

That is sexism (against males).  Fighting sexism with sexism....... begats sexism.

Being a pro life republican, I do think its very interesting that women who want the right to choose, suddenly don't care about their right to choose. If I had known thats all It takes to get women to turn against abortion, I would have prayed for a black liberal presidential candidate a long time ago.

You should be insulted! There are women in the GOP that could be  VP but this ridiculous pick is not one of them! McCain has in many peoples opinion had judgment issues and this just confirms that thought.This is without a doubt one of the poorest VP picks in the history of American politics! If and I do mean if,she makes it on to the national ballet it will be a complete disaster for the GOP! McCain has taken the serious issue of our National election and turned it in to a joke. Women that worked so hard for Hillary and what she stands for I don't think are going to be swayed at all by this small minded Governor from the far right of the GOP!

Yeah.  She's intelligent, knowledgeable, and isn't a pushover.  I saw a vid on youtube where she said McCain was wrong, but he'll come around to seeing things her way.

I agree with you....Voting for McCain because of his VP choice would be a step back rather than a step forward for women in the United States.

And I don't think Hilary supporters will be "flocking to Palin." We are not idiots. It's not enough to select a woman if she takes us back decades.

OK, let me get this straight...

Because Sarah Palin is a woman who has five children, is pro-life, has fought corruption, and has been governor for two years, she is inexperienced and unsuitable for the vice-presidency.  Obama has been senator for two years, one of which has been campaigning, and has pretty much only supported killing failed abortion babies after they are born and Law of the Seas Treaty, and he's experienced enough to be the president?

No.  Its not about her family... its about her experience.  Her big political experience is being mayor of a small town. She's been governor of a sparsely populated state (fewer than 700k in the whole state) for less than 2 years.  She is accomplished but not qualified to be VP for the 72 year old, cancer prone McCain.
