As a ploy by the GOP to say she is too young and inexperienced as a way to slam Obama?

    Pass around!!

  2. She is Mccains token gesture and puppet. It is a very cynical way to try and win votes, seeming to do the thing your opposition did not do and try to remain relevant to the disenfranchised voters.

Until this week few people outside of Alaska had even heard of her, the only Palin most Americans new was Micheal Palin from the Monty Python team...this is almost as farcical as anything Monty Pythons Flying Circus could ever come up with!

  3. I hope not.  She just won Obama the Presidency.

    hillary supporter turned Obamabot

  4. No,Is Obama? She is alot smarter then him.

  5. Interesting... but not likely.

  6. I almost get the feeling that McCain picked Palin out of spite because the Republican leadership wouldn't let him choose the running mate he wanted. One theory is this is part of a plan to force the leadership to allow McCain to have who he originally wanted as a running mate after ditching Palin. However, I find it hard to believe that McCain would be so heartless and cruel to the Palin family. What is clear is that Palin was never properly vetted. This will be borne out in the days and weeks to come.

  7. um...stop watching cnn

  8. Pretty cynical question.  But I'll bite.  No not next week, but within four weeks she'll be out.  And not because of a GOP ploy, but because she'll be crucified by the press.  The democrats won't need to say a word, and they will be smart enough to leave the muckraking to the journalists.  The republicans will force her to fall on her sword and resign.  She won't admit any wrong doing, but will say that the negative media attention is too distracting to McCain's campaign and that she can't continue to put her family through the media scrutiny.  Anyone want to start a pool for the date?  I'm calling dibs on Sept 21.

  9. Ummm - doubtful.  That would just look like the GOP had been too quick to choose and chose for the wrong reasons.

More likely, unfortunately, is that Palin will openly admit her daughter is the mother of Trig.  I hope that doesn't make her drop out, though.

  10. For Mccain's sake, he better hope so. He's a moron for doing that, and just handed the election to Obama . . . thank god, after 8 years of horror, I never want to see another republican again.

  11. That's ridiculous.  Of course not.

What's funny is that Democrats are, in effect, saying that very thing about Obama.  Want to know how?  Just look at all these questions on this forum asking isn't Obama more experienced than Palin.  Tell me that isn't degrading and embarrassing.....comparing a presidential candidate with a mere VP candidate.

Believe me, it is something I have never seen done in any other presidential election in my life.

It either elevates Palin to Obama's status as presidential material, or it reduces him to her status as VP candidate.  Either way, it is not very flattering to him and/or his "experience".

  12. You must have had a few extra on Saturday night.
