Is Palin really a "history making" choice, if the Dems previously chose Ferraro to be VP in 1984?

She's history making because she's the first Republican VP candidate.  Not quite as ground breaking as Ferraro, but still significant.  Also no matter what, history will be made with this election.

Also keep in mind that Hillary wasn't the first woman to run for President and Obama wasn't the first African American to run.  But they were both very significant in their own right.

Technically, it's still history.  She's the first woman picked as the Republican Vice President candidate.
