  3. No. It is because Barracuda are attracted to shiny objects, and they are waiting for Obama to sprinkle himself with all the Hollywood glitter that he did at the Democratic Convention so Sarah Palin can rip him apart!

  4. I honestly don't know why McCain chose Palin as his VP but, I think it has a lot to do with the Oil Reserves in Alaska........

No, I think it's because she's a charismatic, results oriented, conservative, maverick who has accomplished a lot and can really connect with those people who live in small towns and cling to their guns and their religion (as Obama so disdainfully put it).  She's smart but she's real.  Compare her to Obama.  Obama is aloof, arrogant, self-absorbed, it's all about him.  Palin talks about the good-old-boy network in politics and shoving it aside so that government works for the people again.  And, don't assume she's weak on foreign affairs.  How many states other than Alaska have been dealing with Russian fighter jets conducting "training exercises" just off their coast?   I'd bet she's watching the Russian situation closely.
