Is that why McCain picked her? To leave us in the hands of this Moose hunter if something happened to him (which is likely considering he has had 3 cancers and god knows what else).

Isnt' this irresponsible on the part of McCain? Shouldn't he pick the most qualified and able person to be president?

  1. No, though she is more qualified than Obama.

I'd rather have an experienced President and somewhat experienced VP than an inexperienced President and an experienced VP.

Besides, it's time to speak up against the socialist tilt my party has taken.

    Democrats for McCain.

  2. You mean, the woman who has 16 years of experience in politics?

You mean, the woman who is the only candidate in this election with executive experience?

You mean, the only candidate to take on big oil and political corruption successfully?

You mean, the only candidate with an 80% approval rating in her state?

You mean, the only candidate who is not a Washington insider?

Since it's obvious she has more experience than Obama and he's a presidential candidate; I'll think she do just fine if it comes to that.

Do you realize you've just made an argument against Obama's lack of experience? Cause you have.

  3. He is not picking her to be president, he's picking her for vp. The likely hood that McCain will drop dead as soon as he is inaugurated (if he wins) is extremely slim. She will have more time to learn the presidential ropes.

Also she has more experience than Obama, is he the most qualified person to be president?  I don't think so.

  4. Palin's "...articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking..."

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/01/31/b...

    AND CHANGE NOT another Lawyer!

  5. First of all..she's not anywhere near as qualified as Obama...

Obama has been a state senator for 8 years.  And a US Senator for 4.

Obama held assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment and Public Works and Veterans' Affairs through December 2006.   In January 2007, he left the Environment and Public Works committee and took additional assignments with Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.  He also became Chairman of the Senate's subcommittee on European Affairs.

This person has ZERO experience in foreign policy, and she's only been a governor for 20 months !

We're supposed to be inspired that he picked a woman, but he picked a woman with short credentials, is accused of ethics violations, and has no relevant education at all.

If something happens to McCain, is she going to run this country ?

She's going to be in charge of finishing god knows whatever war McCain starts ?

    this is insanity period.

  6. McCain himself SAID that that is who he would choose..but then he went with Palin.

  7. Simple - - - McCain didn't have a choice.

He wanted Lieberman, but McCain's not calling the shots, Carl Rove is.

    And Rove doesn't like Lieberman.

    What Rove wants, Rove gets.

  8. No.  And it just goes to show that McCain was a liar when he made EXPERIENCE the cornerstone of his campaign.

  9. well shes more qualified then mr community organizer
