I don't have a problem with it.  I think it's a great pick because it will insure a Democratic victory.  I admit that I was a little worried that McCain might choose Lieberman but I am very happy with this choice.

in Alaska and not all participated that's a questionable position.

She has a bachelor in journalism with a minor in politics. In short:

She knows jack.

She is the Governor of Alaska. That position ranks shortly under

a trailer park bully in South Carolina.

She promotes Creationism. Which cleary shows she's what

McCain will probably call her in a not so distant future anyway.

Of course.  The first several years of my professional career when I worked at a public accounting firm, we had a "superwoman" type who tried to dominate the place.  She had the 2.0 kids to get her superwoman bona fides, didn't take her husband's name, all that jazz.  Anyway, every year we had recruiting season where we would parade all of the upcoming smarty pantses from the universities through the office to interview.  This battle ax was a plain jane braniac from Wisconsin (complete with extremely annoying accent I might add), and she fought tooth and nail whenever the rest of us decided we wanted to hire a smart and pretty woman.  She was so stuck in her superwoman ways that she couldn't come to grips with the fact that many, many women are both extremely smart and attractive.
