I rather would have the benefit of protecting my family with a gun than without.  A thief will probably have one anyway, I deserve to protect mine.   So I shall have the right to bear arms for the protection of my family.

Yes, a police officer was just shot to death last year by a criminal using an assault rifle - just months after the Brady Bill was overturned by Republicans (remember him? He's the guy who took a bullet in the head for Reagan, and not one provision in that bill didn't make the public safer).

errr wow...first off if I'm not mistaken the Crips and Bloods already have those. So the unspoken assumption that more gun laws do anything (other then pentalize law abiding citizens) is flawed.  Also the AK-47, is an assault rifle, not a machine gun, so you fail on two counts.  Oh and the KKK? nice red herring.

So, your position is, if she doesn't try to take away our second amendment rights, she will give gangs guns?...I have news for you, the gangs already HAVE guns, and they always will...Americans who are NOT criminals, should be permitted to have guns, too.
