Is Panera's Bread Company joint-venture concept a good idea to invest in?

Panera is offering to there GM an opportunity to be part ownership with a cost. You must invest some of you monies for five years before you become a part owner. Is this a good investment strategy?

Yes!  They are not offering that to everyone, mostly to District Managers and above. They are opening a lot of cafes in the western US, and they are doing well.  Also they are getting ready to open in Canada.
