Is Parasailing worth it?

I'm taking a trip to Myrtle Beach, and I am considering going parasailing. It seems a tad over-priced, at parasailmyrtlebeach.com . $50.00 for a solo flight and it doesn't say how much flight time you have. All it says is "Parasailors are on the boat 30-45 minutes". Is is worth it?

I've never done it, but I do have some advice if you do, and if you're a guy...can't tell with your name, sorry.  No disrespect meant.  Anyways, tie your trunks on tight!  One of my teachers had the misfortune of losing (and somehow regaining) his trunks while he was parasailing.

Yes I agree it is a tad over priced. But yes I do believe its worth it. Myrtle Beach it very beautiful and it was a lot of fun! But I will say this....if you get bored easily and like more extreme sports then dont waste your money on this becasue you will get a little bored no matter what your looking at. By the time I got done(which was about at the 45 min mark) I was tired of sitting and ready to go do something with action! But it is fun for the first 25 min or so! It is very beautiful from up there but its really up to you depending on what kind of things you like to do. I like more extreme action sports and activities so for me: no i would not spend that much money on it again. You might as well do so you can say you have! Have Fun! Hope this helped!
